The Phoenix Cinema is one of the UK’s oldest, purpose-built cinemas that’s still showing movies. Situated in the north London suburb of East Finchley, our history dates back to 1910, since when we have entertained literally millions of customers.

Unlike many other cinemas, we’re also an active member of our local community, offering films for young children and older movie-lovers.

We take pride in offering an eclectic mix of films on our single screen and on offering excellent value for money, with this variety one of the reasons why TV film critic Marc Kermode has named us as his favourite cinema in the whole world.
